Kids say the darndest things
Last week we went to the temple. We did a split shift since we didn't plan for a babysitter enough in advance.
It was my turn to be with the kids so we walked around the Washington D.C. Visitors Center and looked at the displays and watched lots of little 'Mormon' commercials.
Then we walked out to where the Christus statue is. H kept staring at it then she finally got really excited and said, 'Mommy wook! wook!'
So I turned to look, thinking something amazingly profound was going to come out of her mouth.
'Mom, wook, Jesus!'
'Yeah H thats Jesus'
No, mom, wook! Jesus is naked!'
yeeaaahhh....profound.
try explaining to a two year old that Jesus isn't naked, he's actually wearing a robe...
Nope...in her mind...Jesus was naked.
